A simple breakdown of what you get charged for and how to keep your campaigns running.
Every new account gets $50 added to their wallet automatically. Here is exactly how it gets used in your first month:

Note: The $24 registration fees are one-time only and never charged again. From Month 2 onwards, only the $10/month maintenance fee applies. We recommend topping up your wallet right after signup so your campaigns have enough balance to run.

The $24 registration and $10/month fees go directly to The Campaign Registry (TCR) — the US government-backed authority that controls business SMS. Every platform that sends texts in the USA pays these. GenieREI does not keep any of this money and charges zero markup.
All Charges at a Glance
You are charged per segment, not per message. One segment = 160 characters.

Tip: Keep messages under 160 characters and avoid emoji. Emoji cuts the limit to 70 characters per segment, tripling your cost.
Before sending your first text to any new number, the system automatically checks whether that number is valid and can receive SMS. This protects your account from TCPA violations, which carry fines of $500–$1,500 per message. The check costs $0.007 per number and only runs once per number.

Your $50 credit covers roughly the first 3 days. After that your wallet will auto-recharge. Keep a minimum of $100 in your wallet to avoid any campaign interruption.

Keep a minimum of $1,000 in your wallet. Set auto-recharge to trigger at $500 with a $1,000 top-up.
Setting Up Auto-Recharge (Recommended)

Enable auto-recharge and set your threshold to $10. When your balance drops below $10, your card on file is charged automatically to top up your wallet. If the payment fails, the system retries for up to 2 days before stopping — at which point your campaigns will pause.
GenieREI is not responsible for paused campaigns or missed leads resulting from failed payments or insufficient wallet balance. Keep your payment method and wallet balance up to date at all times. Admin access is required to manage wallet settings.
