Steps to Securely Offboard an Acquisitions Rep

This video walks you through how to properly remove an acquisitions rep from GenieREI so they can't access the system or any leads after they leave.

Step 1 — Lock Down Their Account:

1. Go to Settings → Staff and open their profile
2. Delete their phone number
3. Change their email to one they don't have access to
4. Hit Next
5. Go to Roles and Permissions — turn off Contacts, Conversations, Opportunities, Payments, and Dashboards
6. Hit Save and confirm with the verification code
7. Go to Advanced Settings and change their password to something new
8. If they have a company email — suspend it immediately so they can't use Forgot Password on any platform

Step 2 — Remove Them from Custom Fields:

1. Go to Custom Fields → Assign To
2. Delete their name and replace it with a placeholder (e.g. Closer 5)

Step 3 — Remove Them from Automations:

1. Go to Automations → Open Acquisitions Lead Assignments → Assign To Field
2. Find their name in the conditions and change it to MayCloud
3. Save
4. Repeat for: Inbound New Lead Assignments, Outbound, and Released Lead Assignment

Step 4 — Release Their Leads:

1. Go to Contacts and filter by Assigned To → [Their Name]
2. Select All
3. Trigger the Release Leads automation
4. Hit Add to Automation
5. Refresh and confirm their leads are now assigned to MayCloud and visible to all closers
