Creating a Personalized Text Template

This video shows you how to create a reusable text template that automatically fills in the lead's name and your name.

Steps:

1. Go to Marketing → Snippets → New Snippet → Text Snippet
2. Give it a name (e.g. "No Answer Text")
3. Type your message — to insert the lead's first name, click the variable button and select Contact → First Name
4. To insert your own name, select User → First Name
5. Write the rest of your message — keep it simple (e.g. "Hey [First Name], this is [Your Name]. Just tried to give you a couple calls. Seems like a bad time. What time works best for you?")
6. Hit Save

To use it:

• Open a contact's conversation
• Click the Snippets button
• Search for your template by name and select it — it will auto-fill into your message ready to send
